The Geirangerfjord is included on the prestigious UNESCO World Heriatge List of cultural and natural Heritage sites, and the nearby Hjørundfjord is for many still an undiscovered trasure. Ålesund is named Norway's most beautiful town, and located at the very entrance to the fjords. The combination is unbeatable!

Visit some of the attractions or museums to get the local histories about the viking era, the town fire, the fisheries and a breed of people who have a special ability to spot opportunuties rather than problems.

If you are looking for outdoor adventures you may enjoy some of the hiking trips in the area, or a boat trip with a sightseeing boat, kayak or fishing trip. Explore the region and travel like the locals with round trips with public transport, and keep your audio guide with you in your smartphone.
