Stranda in the fjords of Norway is one of our favorite destination for touring and winter camping. It´s definitely one of Norway´s best areas for touring. When camping and touring here you got great fjord view from some of the mountains. The camp area will have beautiful mountains 360º all around it. Here you got good riding for everyone. The variety of this mountain range is quite big. You can ride mellow runs with nice windlips, fun tree runs, couloirs and steeper short big mountain lines. Here we camp in the dramatic mountains of the fjords where the Northern Lights comes out dancing on the sky during some clear winter nights. You will get really close to the mountains & fjords. On this trip you will be in scenic nature all the way.

Use multiple layers so that you can adjust the temperature easy with taking on and of layers when hiking. We recommend to bring a thin down jacket in your backpack. So you can easily take it on and off if you get cold during the day. Bring at least two pair of gloves or mittens. One thin pair for walking and one thicker warm pair for riding or use during breaks.
